Cashcal is made by Christopher Edward Staton. The app helps a household see the month in dollars. We do not sell your data.
Money stays on your devices
Charges, balances, and calendar notes live on your iPhone and iPad. Devices in the same household sync an encrypted copy. We cannot read that copy.
What the servers see
- The email you use to sign in, so you can log in and so household members can see who is in the house
- Encrypted blobs we cannot open
- Device and household membership needed to sync
Banks
Bank Sync is optional and sold through the App Store. If you connect a bank, Plaid helps you log in. Bank tokens stay on your device. Our relay never keeps those tokens and never stores your transactions.
Purchases
Apple handles Bank Sync payment. We only learn whether Bank Sync is active so we can turn sync on or off.
Delete
In the app: Settings, Advanced, Delete my cashcal account. That removes your cloud login. Shared household data stays for the people still in the household.
